From the outside the roof looks in tact but today when i went into the attic i noticed small gaps in the roof where holes of light were evident. The most common blown in material used but it can rot and grow moldy if exposed to moisture. The roof decking is left slightly shorter than the rafter ends creating a gap between the roof and the gutter.
